Pros

Team work, support both in your job and personally, constructive criticism and constant praise, steady work flow, knowledgeable management, work/life balance... etc. I felt personally cared for, as well as a lift of confidence in my position. I felt that they cared for my expertise and only wanted to help that growth within me. They were a driven team often driving their employees to reach further, and I often felt respected throughout by all, no matter their position. The doctors are very knowledgeable as well, and easy to work with and go to. The team of coordinators is strong and brings their own personality and knowledge to the team, and it was a fun uplifting environment on the daily. The entire team was always on point and knowing their role as well as what was going on with the studies because of how often the meetings were, and it just felt the glue was holding tight. Changes seemed to come easy to them even if they weren't or known to be difficult... and I was there during their way of handling the pandemic situation as well. Management was quick to set plans in place and was incredibly professional (as they always are) in the way they handled those type of hard changes and decisions. This is a never give up environment, and they stand by their core values.

Cons

Having to leave this team is my biggest con. It was very hard to part ways.

Pros

The team at Relaro Medical Trials is supportive and hard working. The office manager goes above and beyond for training new staff and making sure they feel comfortable in their roles. The coordinators and study team are always willing to help out and allow you to thrive in your role. It was a refreshing experience to work along staff that are passionate about the same values and goals.

Cons

The downside for me personally was the commute from the suburbs to the office location in Dallas. If living in the North Dallas/Richardson area it's not bad but commuting from the suburbs took me about 45 minutes.

Pros

The staff work well together to keep everyone accountable to the communities we serve. Training is personalized based on experience and as a premier clinical research site, Relaro goes above and beyond in making sure you have the tools you need to succeed. This mental health research team does a great job at reaching out into the community to promote public health and patient education, while also valuing work-home balance and employee feedback. As far as patient recruitment goes, every member of the staff has spent time speaking with potential study candidates, advocating for patient support by study sponsors, and connecting with the vendors that bring patients in. As a member of the team, you really feel that your colleagues can and do support you. My experience in clinical research was rather light before working with Relaro, but the friendly staff and management made me feel welcome and part of the family.

Cons

Even with the proper training, the learning curve for clinical research can be rather steep. As a site that mostly deals with mental health studies, it is important to build strong relationships with your colleagues and mentors, while also building a robust personal support system.
