Pros

The most amazing, kind, talented peers I have ever worked with. Your peers can only give to the culture so much and should NOT be the only semblance of values. I would give my team a 5 star rating...but as a whole the company has much work to do.

Cons

The leadership is incredibly toxic, disrespectful of your time and skills. I was overworked with little to no recognition or appreciation. There were last minute changes made CONSTANTLY with no regard to deadlines or workload. Leadership has no idea what business critical is and would often spin out on needless concerns that were time consuming and had little to no ROI. There were endless meetings for planning/strategy that would inevitably be changed many times, and more often than not, at the last minute. The opportunity for growth is at best unclear and at worst barely existent for most roles. If you had the opportunity to be promoted it would be months of begging and pleading for peanuts. I would never recommend anyone work there, in fact I had many folks reach out bc they were interested in a role (bc of the incredibly high turnover there was ALWAYS an open role) and I would warn them and steer them away from applying.

Pros

Michelle, the store manager at the time, created a customer-focused team-driven environment that was great to work in! Employees worked together for the good of the customer and gave credit for sales to the employee who deserved it. High quality lighting, hardware, and furniture and a positive sales environment.

Cons

Required to work weekends/holidays, like most retail jobs!

Pros

somewhat good discount but everything is overpriced anyway

Cons

catty, unstable, unhappy management that takes out their unhappiness on lower staff. they always stressed and make it everyone else's problem. overlooks poor middle management for the sake of retaining a good turnover
