Pros

80% discount. If you're in a management position, you get a decent pay (however I made more working on commission in a sales role prior to Reiss). District Manager and Human Resources Manager are lovely, empathetic people that emphasize fun and success.

Cons

Morale is always extremely low. Everyone has or currently does talk about quitting; even those that work hardest and are the biggest assets to the team. (Though the store opened in June, there are only two full time hires still working for the company, the average period of employment is probably around four months.) Current manager does not believe in promoting from within the store. If you're not in management. You're not well paid and extremely overworked. My current general manager told me straight up that I'm not worth what I'm paid. My old general manager advised me against taking a path towards a position that would have developed my career in the company. Management is too serious and way too private and does not communicate to lower management. I had to do my own research on the product because the company didn't provide sufficient product knowledge. Work flow is very slow and quiet, if customers prefer browsing rather than seriously buying, the associates are held accountable and are written up for not producing sales.

Pros

- good discount - allowance - great quality clothes

Cons

There was poor communication and the managers never took accountability for anything. The top sales employees felt overworked and just left the company. We rarely made goals and managers would blame the team even though they didn't advertise the grand opening.
