The Board continues to make critical errors and are not moving in a good direction. I think the runway for the company is very short. Reibus is a steel brokerage not a tech company, period. I have talked to executives in the industry who have described the new CEO as the ‘nail in the coffin’ for Reibus. The decision to hire him shows a lack of understanding in the business. Certain leaders who have been recently elevated are part of the problem and are too self serving to play a role in the solution. The Board has had such limited contact with management that they rely on the wrong people. This is already causing problems. The sales team has more defections on the way. The instability is making all of our jobs harder than it should be. I know reps that are ‘double-dipping’, basically getting commission with other companies until they are downsized by Reibus. Who can blame them? A lot of talented people have left and we are left to explain to our accounts what is going on. They are not buying our explanations and are happy we are failing.
