Pros

Some great people work here, but unfortunately, they are not appreciated. The occasional team events in the office were fun. There is work-from-home flexibility.

Cons

Working at Reibus was a poor experience at best. The company's core values of 'grittiness' and 'ownership' are used to justify overworking and underpaying employees. During my tenure at Reibus, I found myself shouldering a workload equivalent to that of three or more people without receiving any additional compensation. Asking for fair compensation for the increased workload is met with the perception that doing so lacked the 'grittiness' and 'ownership' required to support the company's bottom line. Management is ineffective, focused on pleasing the CEO to avoid being cut next in layoffs rather than supporting their teams. The lack of effective people management led to disjointed teams and an unfair distribution of work. The constant changes, layoffs, and poor leadership hires are all masked under the pretense of cultural misfit, leading to a chaotic work environment. Those who remained faced the burden of the departed employees' workload without any recognition or promise of increased pay. Voicing concerns to management or HR was often met with gaslighting, making employees feel that they are just not a fit in the Reibus culture. The company's financial troubles lead to a fear-driven atmosphere, with little hope for the future. Leadership lacks transparency, hiding behind a wall of snideness, defensiveness, and dishonesty. Instead of focusing on the long-term success of the company, most employees’ efforts were dedicated to fulfilling every whim of the CEO. The CEO's ego-driven projects take precedence over long-term success, resulting in wasted effort and resources. The company's values, maybe once well-intentioned, are now weaponized against employees, being used to justify poor treatment and increasing workloads. Despite some hardworking and dedicated individuals at Reibus, they are continuously overshadowed as the company hires expensive, big-name leaders with little expertise, pushing the real talent lower on the totem pole.
