      Pros

      The name of the company on your resume is decent. The company is in the news more after COVID.

      Cons

      Toxic culture. The people here are not happy and in order to get ahead they will sabotage each other. Many times work you have been working on for 2-4 weeks will magically get destroyed in the lab or data files you have will magically be deleted. Promotions after 5+ years at each position makes this a horrible career progression place.

      Good pay and benefits. Flexibility of work hours.

      Cons

      If you're in the wrong group, it's a struggle to get autonomy even when you ask for more oversight of a group or project because micromanaging is an issue. I feel trapped where I am and growth has been stagnant. They also hold a mistake against you for years. Management afraid to give constructive criticism.
