      Pros

      Beautiful site and facilities. Deep pockets to purchase and facilitate more efficient work. Great benefits and stock options.

      Cons

      Non Ph.Ds have very steep growth ladder. Sentiment of feeling stuck and not being promoted is felt amongst the R&D Specialist. They may "grant" the ability to a Scientist title but this requires many many years of employment and the completion of a project which is reviewed by a committee.

      Good pay and benefits. Flexibility of work hours.

      Cons

      If you're in the wrong group, it's a struggle to get autonomy even when you ask for more oversight of a group or project because micromanaging is an issue. I feel trapped where I am and growth has been stagnant. They also hold a mistake against you for years. Management afraid to give constructive criticism.
