Pros

Free movies, discounted concessions, chances to get free posters. Good first job, good hands on training.

Cons

Working holidays and having to work a 2am closing shift and opening the next morning. Management needs to start respecting their employees and start appreciating them doing all their dirty work. And the drama between managers and employees is completely ridiculous. Work can be fun if GM is fun. Also not so good pay and no room for raises or to go to upper levels after being for the company for so long.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
