Pros

You can meet some really great people 2 Free Movies A Week 50% Concession Discount

Cons

The work load has increased exponentially. The negativity and stress levels have grown through the roof. Corporate rarely responds to emails. You have no support in the theatres. Your RD will come see you once, give you a long list of how the theatre isn't perfect, give zero positive feedback and then leave. In my case over a month after the fact I was issued an "Action Plan". Basically a generic document that threatened to fire me if I didn't improve. I don't even think HR knows about these forms cause they used the old logo. You know the one from the old company that cannot be Seen because we're better now. I don't know about the other regions but the Orlando one is a pure black hole of misery. Painting walls a calming color and putting video games in the break room is all nice but that's just a surface level fix. No one wants to work here long term. The GM's are held to such a high standard that it's impossible to live up to them. You will get blamed for every little thing even if you have zero control over it. We went from a certified best place to work to being on a top 10 list or worst companies to work for. Just search the internet you'll find the article. We have lost so many good people only to replace them with ones who aren't ready or prepared for the job so we can underpay them to do an impossible job. I have 1 week left and I have never been happier. I'm going to be dancing my way out the door

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
