Pros

Scheduling is very flexible. I was able to work almost full time while going to college full time as well. They have fair policies for raises and advancement. This will vary depending on the theatre, but the two I worked at had really good people at the theatre level. Reasonably decent benefit opportunities for part time employees.

Cons

Corporate management is disrespectful and dismissive towards field personnel. HR department is heavy handed and can go on witch hunts. Lack of proper communication between departments results in frequent contradictions and poorly implemented programs from corporate.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
