Pros

Regal Entertainment Group offers many advancement opportunities, even though the higher positions pay only marginally more than the lower positions. If you are looking for a career in retail management, a management position with Regal will get you some experience.

Cons

While you may learn a lot, the position will not be very helpful to your resume unless you are looking to stay in the theatre industry. Be prepared to take a step down before advancing with any other companies. Don't expect to take ANY vacations during the holidays. While you may be able to get one or two days off, you will be expected to be available to work if needed.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
