Great place to work, great people but without a law degree promotions are limited. - Business Center Specialist Reed Smith Employee Review

Pros

Great people, great management at least in the Pittsburgh Business Center Office. I really enjoyed my time working at Reed Smith for the most part. Benefits are pretty good. For an entry level position, the pay is adequate. I would recommend it as a good entry level spot for a college grad trying to get into the operations end of a law firm or someone thinking of going to law school to see how they like working in a law firm.

Cons

The pay was a bit low. The main reason I left the company was because there was not much room for advancement without a law degree. Most of the Supervisory or Management positions were filled by good people who had no intentions of leaving the firm any time soon.

Pros

Great teammates, hybrid work environment, nice offices

Cons

Too many chiefs and not enough support members; unequal treatment of staff where some are allowed to do things a certain way while others aren't.
