Pros

Flexible hours and ability to work from home often. Free snacks and drinks. Some great people to work with (PMs, design and devs) and some interesting clients.

Cons

Redstamp as a company is that emotionally abusive, narcissist ex you wish you never dated. They are all talk - kind and inviting, even endearing at first, but the more you get to know this company the more you see the ugly mess underneath. Either they don’t know what they are doing or they do and they are incredibly calculated and manipulative. Either way, it’s not a good place to be. Management’s word doesn’t mean anything. No follow through, and constantly changing goal posts then gaslighting you when you bring it up. Lots of nice ideas that don’t come to fruition. They will take from you whatever they can and keep trying to sweet talk you while secretly trying to undercut you. The big new office is more full of furniture than staff because of high turnover. They seem to be wasting money on things like big screen TVs that sit unused and top of the line desks that are mostly empty. Very top heavy. More upper management than needed and they are all white dudes despite the company’s supposed equitable ideals. This is not LGBTQ safe space, despite what they say. A lot of the team have less than accepting attitudes. Again, it’s all talk. Redstamp was one of the most disappointing, ethically dubious, and frustrating places I have ever worked. Avoid unless you are a workaholic, like being underpaid, or appreciate being undervalued.

Pros

A strong creative team that can deliver at scale, working for Redstamp was always fun and engaging. They have a large pool of contractors and lots of opportunity to do variety of work. Client work is fast-paced and challenging. A great place to hone skills. Employees, contractors, and clients span multiple time zones so there is a ton of flexibility in schedules. Diverse workforce + women leaders. Team is collaborative and maintained positive energy while working with a remote workforce. This is the kind of place you can make your own path and grow with the company. Requires good attitude and flexibility. They don't have it all figured out and anyone with an entrepreneurial mindset will fit right in.

Cons

A lot of pressure on the leadership team to have it all figured out. So many internal projects and initiatives and little time to allocate time and resources. Junior talent will struggle working here, work is fast paced and expectations are high. Clients are very complex and require high level of experience. Capturing constructive feedback was sometimes difficult. Team leads take on majority of the work and struggle delegating and building structure and processes around their teams, which is natural for a team that is scaling. Work for contractors can drop unexpectedly. Team expects a time commitment and sometimes struggle forecasting work.

Pros

• The people I work with, across all teams, are lovely and talented • The relatively-flat organizational structure offers amazing learning opportunities • The client work is interesting and the output is held to a high standard • A lot of focus is directed at employee wellbeing and satisfaction • Similarly there's a lot of focus on professional development and helping employees grow • Completely remote team means people can work from pretty much anywhere

Cons

• The pay is reasonable, but not competitive; the benefits are the same • Inconsistent flow of work means it's either super busy or super slow • Company culture feels a little forced at times
