There was a period when things appeared to be improving, but the recent months have been quite tumultuous. The balance has shifted more towards challenges than successes. Somewhere around April to May, amid a regular workday, a significant number of people were unexpectedly let go, causing a wave of emotions among those who remained in the office. Tears from those being exited rather cruelly and anxiety filled the air with those that remained. Why do it in the middle of the day for all to see? Where was the humanity? It was all for show. Completely avoidable. The unsettling atmosphere continued when a senior manager raised their voice at a new team member in the open office. This incident prompted the new starter to leave, setting off a chain reaction. The entire marketing team eventually departed. Interestingly, the replacement marketer, who joined months ago, has not even updated his LinkedIn profile to reflect his new role. The lack of this simple update speaks volumes about the current state of affairs.
