Pros

• Flexible when it comes to work-life balance • Company covers meals and drinks during staff events • Good incentives and team activities

Cons

I’ve been working at Redfish for 3 years, and while it has some positive aspects, there are definitely areas for improvement. The company does well when times are good, but when things aren’t going as smoothly, there’s a noticeable shift in the pressure placed on employees. It feels like the company quickly moves to cut people when they aren't performing at a certain level, as everyone knows there’s ups and downs in recruitment unfortunately when the going gets tough there was no actually support other than “why are you not billing chats” There is a focus on quantity over quality, especially when it comes to candidates, which can be frustrating. It sometimes feels like the emphasis is on just filling positions quickly rather than finding the right fit, which goes against the best practices in recruitment. Calls, emails, and activity are closely monitored, which can feel like micromanagement at times. Another downside is the lack of a structured HR department. The management particularly when it comes to time off, is not very professional. They often ask intrusive questions about personal matters like vacations or sick days, which can be uncomfortable and make you feel like your privacy isn’t respected. Also reasoning of sick days/days off gets announced to everyone in the workplace. While the company offers good incentives, they tend to focus on male-dominated activities and don't always cater to female workers as much. Female workers do not tend to last here unfortunately. An environment heavily skewed towards men, with little effort to create balance, Women need a thick skin to survive here hence why you can count on one hand the amount of women that “lasted”. If you're someone who enjoys a very competitive, fast-paced environment, Redfish may suit you, but it can be challenging if you're looking for a more supportive and understanding workplace because unfortunately there’s no real training everything is very much figure it out as you go along from the very first day. In conclusion, Redfish has its strengths, but the pressure to perform during tough months, lack of professionalism at times, and a focus on quantity over quality can be frustrating for those looking for a balanced, supportive work environment.
