Pros

Unlimited holiday: fantastic perk and genuinely no questions asked. It’s just a shame that you absolutely need it as it’s such a negative environment, removing this perk would be really detrimental to staff. Fully remote with flexible hours, excellent for parents or medical appointments. Employee led initiatives around charity and community if you have the time to be a part of them.

Cons

The feedback culture needs a lot of work: any bad feedback is treated as staff being difficult, any good feedback gets rewarded, creating a culture of compliance rather than constructive, useful dialogue where staff interests are taken to heart. Constructive discussions are often shut down and responded to with defensive justifications for poor/unpopular decisions. Career growth is stunted for those who do not comply, promotions are given to people without the requisite skills, training or attitude. Their decision making is so diluted by there being too many stakeholders making decisions that they are rendered ineffective anyway leading to a lot of frustration in the teams. The website promotes a people first approach, the reality of working at Reddico feels more like a constant quest for profit first, this is especially difficult for staff who worked under the previous directors. Don’t be fooled by the lack of reviews in 2024: there was a huge turnover rate in 2024 due to staff unhappiness, disillusionment and burnout - all very talented staff who led due to disappointment in the business that they’d once enjoyed working for.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about Reddico. We value all forms of feedback, and regularly ask for and share internal views with the wider team for transparency, as well as having an exit interview to capture information like this. We appreciate that just like any company, it will be impossible to make decisions or operate in a way that pleases everyone – but we still respect the opinions of everyone and make a concerted effort to create opportunities to discuss work issues with all team members. Like all other agencies (and businesses), we have to take a measured approach to finances that balances the ability to sustainably run a company (in an uncertain climate), whilst still investing in the team. We feel we've been able to find the right balance and over the last 12 months have run a structured pay review, promoted employees internally, and continued to invest in a range of important benefits such as excellent mental health care, private medical insurance, long-term sickness insurance, life insurance, enhanced pension contribution of 5%, enhanced maternity pay, financial commitments to community projects, team gifts & recognition rewards, and social meet-ups. We are also incredibly transparent on financial performance with the team, and share monthly reports to communicate updates and changes. There has been some change at the agency in recent times, and we appreciate that there have been more people exiting the business than we would have liked. Unfortunately 4 people moved on from the team in 2024, and although this is comparable to previous years, we always want to understand ways to reduce this. It should be noted that nearly 60% of our team are celebrating their 5 year anniversary with the company in 2025, or have been with us for 5+ years. We're extremely proud of that statistic, especially in an agency world often associated with high churn. We will, however, take the feedback provided here, as well as the exit interview information from 5-6 months ago, to internally challenge how we can be better as an agency. If you would like to provide additional feedback to support this process, please reach out directly to our HR team.
