Pros

The pay is decent - but you have to work OT without pay and no time-off in lieu. Flat hierarchy - sounds good at first, but really it was not a good thing. Flat hierarchy without any job title -- which means, basically you have to do what they ask you to do. I saw many developers complaining about doing QA testing jobs because the manager told them to do so. Some of the reviews here mentioned flat hierarchy as a good thing, but I really didn't see any benefits of it in this company. Flat hierarchy in this company interprets as "No room to grow".

Cons

There are so many cons. If you get an offer from this company, please think twice. Don't ignore the bad reviews of this company here. This company has all the bad features that a small company can have. - No work/life balance: although I was told in my interview that they don't make their workers work more than 50 hours a week, I was forced to work a lot more than that several weeks in a row. - Shortage of work: They basically don't have much work aligned. Managers lie about the upcoming work. They are having a hard time to find more work. So, their strategy is to bid the gov projects with very low $$ and with unrealistic timeline. Once they get some work, they abuse their employees to work crazy long hours to make up the deadline since they don't have to pay employees OT at all. - Toxic working environment: employees don't respect each other. They yell at each other when something doesn't work in their ways. - I know many employees are thinking of leaving this company and actively looking for jobs else where. I am also one of them.

Pros

- Great place for early career. You learn quickly, get exposure to different domains, and can have an outsize business impact given the small(er) size of the company - Great friendly culture, getting to know people at the office is easy and rewarding

Cons

- Low salary - Outmoded policies, continuous emphasis on RTO despite the fact that half the company works remotely from other cities and even Canada - Lack of transparency from management -- few 1:1s, little opportunity for career progression - Client-facing projects consistently pressure employees to work overtime for long stretches, no attempt by management to remedy this - Outdated tech stack, a lot of tech debt - Lots of bureaucracy
