Very good company - they really care about their employees! - Software Engineer RedCompass Labs Employee Review

Pros

Really good, competitive salary as well as the bonus (10% of your yearly salary). From software engineer perspective - freedom to choose the technologies, the opportunity to use the most cutting-edge technologies Flat organisation structure Opportunity to work in the international environment, with major companies on the financial market Interesting project (also with the application of AI and ML) Very friendly teammates Cultural diversity and respect for all of the employees in the company

Cons

Sometimes working under the pressure of time (but it happens in all of the companies of the financial sector) - employees are paid for the overtime. Working overtime means disrupting work-life balance (though it does not occur very often)

Pros

The interview process is clear and professional, you always know your status. One of the things I've enjoyed most is working with people. Literally everyone is friendly, professional and helpful. One of the best environments I've ever worked with. Working on UoP the benefits are great.

Cons

Not complex enough to grow in the frontend field as the majority of the projects are for banks, and they need stronger backend. No clear process to review your salary each year.

Pros

There are some good work that happens at RedCompass Labs but for some reason these are limited to their London and Poland Offices. If you are in a location like Toronto, the probability that you will get a good project (as per trends in 2024) is very slim

Cons

Apart from there being some invisible factors which leads to people not identified your core skills and miss assigning projects to you; I found the place to be border line racist and sexist.
