Pros

Generous spifs for additional income. Christmas bonuses are very generous and the customers are some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Cons

Policies aren't consistent with the employee handbook and vary from employee to employee. Communication is nonexistent throughout the entire company which hinders productivity leading to errors and loss of profit. The company claims to be family oriented but can't even send a sympathy card let alone a flower arrangement after the death of an employees immediate family member. Management could care less about their employees and only see dollar signs. The warehouse employees have it the worst, they were given a weeks notice that their hours were changing from 830-5 to 1030-7 and if they didn't like it could find another job. This company has absolutely no employee loyalty.

First, let me say I’m terribly sorry that we missed sending flowers. This is something I typically do. I’m not sure how I missed this, but I do apologize. Communication is definitely something we have struggled with during our growth. We are continuously striving to get the teams and systems in place to overcome this. I am a bit troubled to hear that you found the policies inconsistent. We work very hard to be fair to each employee. Pros

I have never met an owner so involved with his co-workers. He is extremely humble and always doing events to keep up employee morale. Everyone works well as a team very eager to share information and help each other grow. The work you do is appreciated and there isn't a closed door policy all are open when needed. It is a great feeling to come to work!

Cons

I feel some communication may get lost. It is hard being a growing company and get information to everyone!

Thank you for your feedback. You have voiced a common concern. While not officially a newsletter yet, we started posting and/or discussing "Hawk Happenings" last week. We are hopeful that this step will keep everyone feeling more connected. It is our intention to publish updates each month as you have suggested. Don't forget if you have other ideas/suggestions, please come see me or any of the HR staff, use the suggestion box email or use the physical suggestion box in the warehouse (if anonymity is desired).

Pros

Having a solid crew made working there amazing. Took care of meals as well as lodging.

Cons

Could have long commute to job site
