Red Hat is still one of the best places to work at. Culture makes it different, despite IBM.
Cons
Big issues in the MENA region. That's not Red Hat as we all know it. Lack of management governance has favoured the formation of siloed environments, in which everyone only thinks about their own profit and progression, regardless of the company objectives. Backstabbing is very frequent, Culture is non existent and it's only about politics and personal interests. It's no surprise that this has led to the dominance of a "certain group of people with the same background", which now are setting the ground for spreading the roots and intoxicate the environment even more. They've taken relevant management positions and now they are bringing their friends. What a shame, hopefully someone in Europe will act despite the huge evidence and repetitive escalations. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
