Pros

OK Salary, not top pay because they target kids straight out of college. Snacks in the break room Convenient location Decent benefits They do attempt wellness programs.

Cons

Amount of travel is a bit excessive. This makes it almost impossible to have a stable relationship, much less start a family. Management doesn't take the negative reviews seriously. In one of our last "all hands" meetings, upper management dismissed the recent bad reviews as "former disgruntled employees". They are not willing to listen to anyone to make the company better. Red Clay goes out of their way to ensure that bad reviews are removed from this site so that their "image" is as good as it can be regardless of how things are on the ground level. Management at this company really isn't that experienced. The most of them have been raised up from within and do not have a good grasp on how to manage people. They tend to use an old school method of management of demanding respect as opposed to commanding it. This management style does not work well on millennials. Red Clay claims that they have an open door policy, but that policy only goes so far. If you share anything with someone in management, the rest of the management teams will know what was discussed very shortly there after. HR is very gossipy. If you mention something in passing to one of the HR members outside of work, like at a birthday gathering, all of HR will know that you said something and you might even be called into the top HR person's office to discuss what you said. There are people that no one knows what they do. As a consultant, I don't expect to know the ins and outs of everyone's function. One of the top dogs appears to only come to the office to check on the bit coin miners and the 3D printer while vaping in a "smoke free" environment.

Pros

Growing company but still feels like a small company. Good benefits, and involvement with charities. Good interaction with coworkers

Cons

Workload and expectations are high but you are still expected to do internal initiatives on top of a stressful workload. Company is going through growth and hiring which has affected bonuses and promotions. There are senior consultants who are managers who do not have the skills to adequately manager people.
