Pros
The owner/operator is a great mentor who will up your game when it comes to quality, relationship focused recruiting. He made a huge investment in teaching me new skills, challenging me, and made me rethink the way I deal with candidates and clients. The office is very fun. The tiny Ping Pong table that I never quite mastered, the Nerf gun I was issued when I started, and just the random discussions throughout the day. He is also a very trustworthy guy, and I never had any concerns contracting through him.
Cons
The owner/operator can be intense to work with, and probably isn't the right fit for everyone. Communication issues came up often, and there were days where I had to limit the amount of "teachable moments" I was willing to hear, which he always respected. Behind that intensity though is a passion for the work that I respected, if not always appreciated in the moment.
