Pros
Many talented individuals here, who are passionate about games and what they do. Recruiters really knows how to bring in quality talent. Free booze, ocassional dinners and decent benefits.
Cons
Difficult work environment: the company wants to have a flat structure, but there are only a select few people that actually make the decisions. Micro Management to the core. Favoritism runs rampant. As many of the other reviews have stated, if you are not partial to upper-management you can be certain things will become difficult for you. Certain "managers" actually bully people. The CEO goes through spurts and can be there for a few weeks at a time, then suddenly disappears. He tries to compensate by having open company meetings for anyone who would like to attend, but if he does not postpone or cancel, it is nothing but hearing his ideas and what books he has read. He should be leading the company, but seems to have no real understanding of how to man the helm. There is no real HR department, so it is frustrating that nothing can be said about anything other than to upper-management who causes the problems. With the game so close to public release there should be some excitement and confidence, but key employees have left or are leaving the company.
