- There are still some genuinely good people trying their best - The space the company operates in is actually pretty interesting. - Visible effort to hire from diverse backgrounds. Though it’s honestly tough seeing people brought in with big promises and then dropped into a pretty toxic environment - Starting salaries are strong and attractive, just know that once the long hours and constant stress kick in, no salary makes it worth staying long-term

Notice how so many of the glowing reviews sound the same: “fast-paced,” “not for everyone,” “high growth,” copy-paste energy everywhere. It feels less like real employee feedback and more like a coordinated script. Leadership keeps asking, and sometimes practically begging, for positive reviews during all-hands. That alone says a lot. For a long time, everyone blamed the CMO for the marketing org’s problems, and her reputation was earned. She has now been replaced, but the deeper issue has not changed. The real problem is middle management in marketing. Strategy gets lost, direction changes weekly, and accountability rarely lands where it should. Demand gen and Product Marketing directors are especially weak. Priorities are unclear, decisions are reactive, and pressure is constant without real support. I genuinely feel bad for the recruiters who have to keep sourcing for these teams, given the turnover. This place burns through employees at an alarming rate. Roughly 50 people left marketing within a year. Many leave exhausted and discouraged, sometimes without another job lined up, even in a tough economy. That should be a major red flag. You can exceed every stated expectation and it still will not be enough. That lucrative salary comes with an unspoken requirement to give back every minute of your free time. Say goodbye to lunches, weeknights, and weekends. Say hello to stress, anxiety, and constant pressure to perform, all judged through subjective reasoning. Decision-making power is promised, then reversed the moment your call conflicts with someone more senior, even when the data supports you. Basic marketing logic gets ignored, like not emailing your database multiple times a day or not expecting a small London event to pull major attendance from Chicago or Atlanta. Empathy is talked about, revenue is worshipped. Direction shifts to whatever the newest shiny object is, with little long-term strategy. It often feels like being told to steer the ship while someone else keeps turning the wheel. If you read reviews, sort by most helpful. If you value clear leadership, stable direction, and consistent expectations, think carefully before joining. If you join anyway, do not say you were not warned.

Awesome co-workers and managers. Fun and fast-paced office. Free catered lunch. Solid product and really interesting customers. Extremely compelling comp plan and reasonable quotas.

Cons

Not enough inbound leads. Need to improve training and enablement. A lot of change.
