Pros

There were none. . Apart from there was a Pret quite close to the office

Cons

The company is toxic. It's as simple as that... The owner and management are nothing more than bullies.. All of the negative reviews are accurate. Any positive ones have probably been written by leadership themselves. They're too cheap to hire enough people to do the work.... so you get stuck working 70 -80 hours a week for 17 to 20k a year. You're contracted for 40 hours and they don't pay overtime. It is beyond a joke. Working there made me feel like a slave. Also, I've honestly never met such a narrow minded, or delusional leadership team in all my life. They spend their days talking about how recruitd are going to be bigger than LinkedIn... I mean come on... But in reality, it's just talk.. they will never be in the same league. They're fooling themselves and they try their best to project a false image of success, when in reality their clinging on by a thread. If you don't buy into their deluded fantasy or grandure, the leadership team turns vicious and cruel.. Especially the owner.. . It's pathetic. I've seen them tear people apart in team meetings for no reason at all, just bc of their own insecurities and inability to perform their own duties. They put pressure on until breaking point and then take pleasure in making people break. Its disgusting and I'm so glad that I'm free of it now. It's a truly toxic culture where all of the real work is left to the poor foot soldiers and execs whilst those in senior roles spend their time massaging their own egos (promoting themselves as "mindset philosophers" and other empty unsubstantiated titles... They even force employees to make the content for their own social channels so that they can further their dilusions of self importance and to trick others into thinking that they are experts., when this couldn't actually be further from the truth). I find it ironic recruitd is supposed to be about helping people to find their dream job, yet they treat their own employees like theyre worthless. I wouldn't wish working in that hell hole on my worst enemy. Seriously, it was the worst career experience of my life!!! If they offer you a job stay unemployed. don't take it. Over the however many months I was there, this job brought back my anxiety and depression... Issues that I had been free of for almost 4 years... and I have worked in many other places before and since so I know that it was because of the awful way they treated myself and others. Leadership simply do not care about you and they never will, you mean nothing to them. BE SMART AND AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.... DON'T WASTE A MINUTE OF YOUR LIFE ON THIS DEAD END COMPANY!!!!!

Pros

There really aren’t any pros to working at Recruitd. It sounds like a dream in the interview but it’s an absolute nightmare.

Cons

- I would like to point out that it’s hilarious how the CEO and senior management team has obviously noticed how awful the reviews were on here averaging at 1* and then all of a sudden in a matter of days the whole team have been forced to add a review rating it 5*. This is the best indication of what the CEO is like .. a bully and reactive. - Bully isn’t a word that I have ever really used and I must admit in the past I’ve always thought it’s thrown around easily. However it’s the only way to describe the CEO and senior management team. The CEO is both passive aggressive and blatantly aggresive. He screams and hollars and is happy one minute but then extremely aggetated the next. The whole office treds on egg shells around him and it’s impossible to determine whether you are going to enjoy your day at work until you see what mood he is in. - The CEO massively knocks individuals confidence and it’s actually quite difficult to watch at times. - The company itself is completely disorganised and you have to chase everything. - The company clearly think their employees are naive enough to fool for a positive de-brief on a Friday to ensure everyone returns to the hell hole while on Monday again. They’re massively mistaken as people leave on a weekly basis.
