Pros
The program is person-centered approach with CBT dimensions allowing for recognition of many facets of mental health presentations within the given population and having a specific framework of treatment. There is a host of individuals with varying degrees of presentation that allow a clinician to work with individuals with a range of differing personalities, memory capabilities, different perceptions, beliefs and ultimately behaviors. The team is organized and helpful.
Cons
The consistency between different staff members amongst clinical, medical and security can cause difficulty with creating and maintaining a healthy and productive environment. However due to the nature of the program it is a residential treatment facility where they house individuals who have moderate to severe mental and physical health disorders which poses for difficulty of navigating through all of those dimensions of the workplace.
