      Pros

      Good bennies. Home every day, weekly pay.

      Cons

      Equipment is outdated, and falling apart. There barely is any training. I was there for a week, never driven a garbage truck before, then put on my own. Instead of signing me off on different equipment like your supposed to, boss photocopied the one, and changed the vehicle. Pay is pretty low for area. Pay versus rent. (I have to have a roommate).

      Pros

      Supportive coworkers, good employee owned company with opportunities to be promoted from within. Just have to put in your time and provide solid work results via leadership qualities and strong KPI performance.

      Cons

      Tough Union environment to work in, and management structure is a little chaotic and inconsistent. Need to be very flexible, because policy changes happen quickly and often.
