Pros

Had a great experience here at RB no doubt but the hours plus commute drained my social life totally. Energetic vibrant atmosphere Responsibility from early on in career

Cons

Work load - Tough and stressful but its almost the same in all CPG firms some may pay more though Location- I joined RB because its one of the consumer good companies near NYC but the daily travel time drove me nuts and is one of the primary reasons why I left last month. Route 80/280 are extremely accident prone and driving from manhattan is a pain daily despite being part of a 4 member carpool. Had to leave "home" at 6:30am as other members did not have assigned parking and street parking is not allowed on most streets in NYC after 7am. Had to leave "office" well after 7:00pm as someone or the other or myself had to sit late to finish up on some deadline. So its leave home at 6:30am and return around 8:30pm- worse than some investment bankers Spent over 2 hours daily in the car as it is a hour commute either way, the reverse commute does not help and I tried to live in Morris Plains/Morris Town for a month, could have shot myself due to depression.

Pros

Feel that the pay is above market standard for similar roles.

Cons

Intense, cold, cut throat. Feel like when you speak with any employee they’re burnt out, Managment beyond demanding. High profile brands, don’t align with low end culture.
