Pros

The few wonderful people I met along the way.

Cons

This was hands down the worst company I’ve ever worked for. At no point working here did I feel safe or stable because of how volatile the environment was. You are constantly being disrespected and abused, ESPECIALLY by “upper management”. The “leaders” of the retail department are a pair of unqualified delusional narcissists. Have absolutely zero idea how to manage, let alone keep a team. All they’re good for is micromanaging the video cameras in the store when they want to watch your every move (with the convenience of the app on their phones.) Nothing about this company is professional. I watched store directors/managers constantly get undermined and bad-mouthed(by upper management) in front of me. Co-workers fired mid shift in front of me. A specific “leader” of retail be extremely flirtatious and inappropriate to fellow female coworkers in front of me. Blatant racism and different treatment for people of color. You name it, I saw it! If you bring up any issues or concerns, you are gaslit and told “it’s the nature of the business.” The torture of working here is not even worth double the pay! That includes the “bonus” that never arrives on time and, of course, before taxes ;)

Pros

Known in the resell market

Cons

Rebag is a toxic workplace built on favoritism, discrimination, and empty promises. Advancement has nothing to do with performance , if you don’t fit their narrow image (White and skinny), you’re overlooked. There is no training or coaching, only constant criticism for not hitting absurd sales goals (like $100K a month for a $500 pre-tax bonus). Raises don’t exist, benefits are insulting (three bags at buying price per year), and management only cares about pleasing the C-suite. Turnover is high because most people are fired or quit, while “promotions” just go to whoever is left standing. The company makes constant, chaotic changes like a brand-new startup, yet offers no stability. On the client side, payouts drag on for 6–8 weeks, the R+ membership barely grows at 1.5% a month, and prices are higher than competitors like Fashionphile. Rebag tries to brand itself as luxury, but the reality is closer to an Aldo-level operation. The company is expanding locations, but internally it’s held together by a thread of bad management, favoritism, and poor treatment of both employees and clients. Apply here only if you’re prepared to regret it.
