Pros
- lots of autonomy to make your mark if you want more freedom - there are some talented and nice people - not much process so decisions can be made quickly - leaders have good relationships in the industry - a lot of built in brand awareness
Cons
- most of the company are quite junior, don't have exp from other software companies, just what they're told - leadership is out of touch and mainly care about their idea or emergency of the week - overestimated product market fit - bad internal communication - a lot of micromanagement across the board because more junior staff are scared to make decisions - decision making is opaque, opinion based and random with no consultation - targets are made up based on fantasy not data
