Pros

Colleagues (non managerial) Office Location Snacks and Social Events

Cons

Micromanagement and bullying by management. Getting the job done only important if you feed management ego at the same time. Misogynist commentary from management (including commentary on the attractiveness of female colleagues and female clients. Culture of staying overtime and working harder but not smarter.

Pros

Downtown location. Easily accessible. Great colleagues (most of them being abused or fired). Snacks and 5@7 are nice thoughts however don't make sense with the ambient disrespect and abusive behaviour.

Cons

A serious lack of respect from upper management. The constant pressure to make people work unpaid overtime. Flex hours meant nothing. No coherence with company's own policy. No support from HR. Disrespectful language in meetings, disrespectful comments about clients and vendors (insults were homophobic and misogynistic) Misogynist attitude in meetings (I don't need to know how beautiful or sexy a client is, or I also definitely don't need to know how beautiful accounting inspectors are...) Huge turnover (15+ people within a year for a company that has about 40 employees!) of highly qualified people is very challenging due to the changing workload. Micromanagement and aggressive language towards employees and vendors. No vision. No training. No coaching.
