- Training days are long and can be a real grind. Virtual format, on the one hand, is convenient, on the other, a bit mind-numbing, especially for seniors who've already gone through the PD the previous year.
- AmeriCorps/nonprofit industrial complex model--living stipend can be rough; "service" label functions an excuse for exploitatively low compensation, though RP actually gave a higher end of the stipend range & also a few other perks along the way. This model results in high variability in the team from year to year which can translate to low quality services for the community/students for AC members who experience a steep learning curve because the model results/is built on high turnover as opposed to retention, which is, of course, a much larger problem within the education system in general
