Pros

I'm surprised there are so few reviews about Levels Beyond, probably because everybody is so busy enjoying their work and caring about this job. :) This is a great place to work! I am surrounded by some of the smartest people I've met, which keeps me going and inspired every day. The culture is relaxed/casual as long as we are getting things done and doing our jobs well. Management stands behind the employees and listens to how we feel about certain issues. But the thing I love most here is the responsibility and ability to just do things that will make processes stronger and Levels a better company overall. Levels is a very fair place to work. They really take care of their employees and reward hard work.

Cons

I've worked for a few small companies. There's always some processes/procedures that can be improved. But that is the fun part about working here.. being challenged to improve the company and being heard.

Pros

The peers and friends you will make are the pros. I would describe working at Levels Beyond as a traumatic experience. The emotionally draining and bullying culture that comes from the leaders will create a close bond with your peers who are experiencing the same thing.

Cons

The leadership is the reason this company has failed. They have none of the following: leadership skills, knowledge of software development best practices, HR basics, diversity awareness, employee satisfaction or empathy. The leaders are unable to have open and honest conversations. If you do bring up concerns, they will disagree and stop listening immediately. They do not invest in their employees or their software. It was common to hear leadership blame former employees for the company's failure. This was disheartening because the employees here work extremely hard, are incredibly smart, and resilient.
