Pros

Coming from a completely different industry I have to say I've been positively surprised by the overall atmospehere at the company. The environment is very multi-cultural and the people are amazing, genuinely committing to the projects and enriching the company atmosphere. The company benefits are really good (compared to the former industry I've worked in) and the employees also organize really nice outside-of-work activities. I've worked here for almost a year now and I've not had a single bad day at work so far, so apparently suits my resilience very good.

Cons

Of course a Scale-up expanding this rapidly has it's growing pains and not all processes are ready, but every single development proposal has been met with positive reception and actionable follow-up from the leadership team.

Pros

Honestly, ReOrbit is a great place. If you happen to have no past experience in space industry or in leading people but you feel you want to vibe with the space business, ReOrbit's open-door policy is really welcoming for people who wouldn't typically find a job in any other space company due to the space industry's historical rigid quality standards. At ReOrbit, mobility is fluid and stereotypes have no place: non-technical people can (and will) lead technical people. In fact, it's possible to land yourself a seat in the management team with the right attitude and elasticity. If you haven't had the time to develop basic knowledge about how satellites work or emotional skills like empathy or self-criticism (which takes time), it is not an impediment to qualify for positions of leadership because the idea is that you learn those things in the job. That's ReOrbit in a nutshell: learning in the job. Be it Chief of Staff or part-time CSO. For instance, the Chief Commercial Officer comes from non-space industries like playable memes for the Gen Z, and this will not stop him from guiding the company's strategy in one of the most complex business environments you can find. Nothing is impossible if you are a "no excuses" person.

Pros

Innovative Technology: ReOrbit has a truly unique and compelling approach to building small geo satellites, which are sold to customers for sovereign communication infrastructure. This innovative product is what initially attracted me to the company. Startup/Scaleup Environment: As a new company that recently secured €45 million in Series A funding, there is a fantastic opportunity to grow and make a significant impact. It's exciting to be part of the company's growth from the ground up. Supportive Leadership: The CEO is smart, passionate, and has assembled a great team. The leadership provides a solid foundation for the company's future success. Remote Work Flexibility: I appreciate the ability to work from home, which offers a great deal of flexibility. While it requires discipline, it's a model that works well for me.

Cons

Remote Work Challenges: While flexible, working from home can sometimes lead to feeling distant from the rest of the team. As the company grows, it will be important to maintain strong communication and a sense of camaraderie among remote employees.
