Pros

Job security if you are doing well. They won't layoff instead move to different team in case the dept is no longer needed.

Cons

Below 5% increment even after top performer rating. Dry promotion / 0% hike and justifying by saying market condition is bad, slowdown in US, you should be happy about no layoff at razorpay. Work load too high etc. Company is mainly focussing into cost cutting measures by no increment, converting SDE to PDE, hiring low cost PDE 1, revoking zoom, micrososoft, lusha subscriptions etc
