Pros
I work as the Head of Software Testing at Rayna Tours. I lead the QA team across different travel platforms like websites, mobile apps, and internal systems. The work is dynamic and gives good exposure to real-time system checks, API testing, payment gateway testing, and planning automation. The management is supportive, and we work closely with the development, UI/UX, and product teams. Over time, the QA process has improved a lot. However, there is still scope to make things better, especially in automation, documentation, and setting up better test environments.
Cons
The 6-day work week can feel a bit exhausting, especially during high-release cycles or back-to-back deployments. A five-day work week or occasional Saturdays off would help improve work-life balance.
