Pros

Working as Senior Legal Counsel at RavenPack has been both professionally and personally rewarding. The company operates at the forefront of data and AI innovation, and the legal team is regarded as a true strategic partner, not merely a support function. Key highlights include: High-impact work: Exposure to complex international contracts, licensing, IP, and data privacy matters. The role provides autonomy while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Executive visibility: Regular engagement with senior leadership and direct input into decision-making processes. Legal advice is valued and integrated early. Collaborative culture: Cross-functional teamwork with product, engineering, and commercial teams fosters strong business understanding and influence. People and values: Colleagues are intelligent, diverse, and committed. The company lives its values of innovation, quality, and integrity. Work environment: Modern offices with excellent facilities, combined with a flexible and supportive work culture.

Cons

As with any rapidly growing company, some processes are still evolving. This requires adaptability but also provides the opportunity to help shape best practices.

Pros

- You work with great people who are willing to help you when you ask - The product is decent - Nice little office in downtown Manhattan

Cons

- New York office feels like a startup compared to Spain HQ - Onboarding material is outdated - Everyone on your team is probably getting paid something differently, even though everyone is doing the same job - Terrible follow-up when teams ask for help (especially with things that are needed to do the job) - Upper management will change things every week & not follow up like promised to see how things are - They had a head start on financial AI research & yet their product is nowhere near as good as competitors - NO SEVERANCE when you're laid off
