Pros

The recognition, trust and transparency I've experienced while working here are second to none. When Rowan and Svein say they're a 'people business', you know they mean it. You get out as much as you put into Rationale and staff are actively encouraged to pursue client development opportunities while developing their own skill sets. As a hybrid worker based in Glasgow, management are very accommodating and flexible, and I always feel like an equal and valued member of the team. Can't wait to see what the future holds!

Cons

The only con is how far away I live, which means it's not feasible to be in the office more than a few days a week!

Pros

- Most staff members nice - Nice office location

Cons

- Those on the creative team have less say in the design direction than account handlers - Managers not trained enough, but also aren't supporting their team. They look out for the business more than the worker. - Rarely bonuses, salary bands email was 'coming' and still hasn't to this day - Owners take so many days off but hold others accountable if they aren't in the office as much, double standards - Would see owners comment availability of their staff on LinkedIn posts by saying it's a 24 hour business and service - Keep people at lower end of salary bands not reflective of the work they're actually achieving

Pros

The team is hard working talented and friendly

Cons

- Decisions being made without input from the people doing the work - Teams having limited autonomy or ownership - Lack of trust - Leadership wanting to control details rather than delegate - Micromanegement - Changes being imposed rather than discussed - Employees feeling their expertise isn’t trusted or valued - Unclear direction and little sense of long-term vision - Bottlenecks and inefficiency - Clear double standards - Uninspired apologetic creative output - Lower morale because people feel unheard
