Pros

As a boomerang employee who left and came back after a year, this company has grown greatly. - Upper Management has gotten the right people into Manager and Director level positions. - The vision of where the company wants to be in terms of both internal workings and financially are lofty, yet attainable goals. - The company has not lost the small company feel of caring about the employees and being able to build friendships across the different teams. - Consistently challenged to think in new ways to solve complex problems and tackle massive projects. - Benefits such as time off, insurance, 401k, pet insurance, and more are all outstanding given the backing of Cox. Most other companies don't come close. - The culture is great. The people you meet in the office or at company events are always friendly, always willing to help when asked, and always great for a good laugh.

Cons

There are very few "cons" to working with RapidScale but here are some that might be useful to people. - The work can be grueling. One of the main mottos of RapidScale is "work hard, play hard" and we do not shirk the responsibilities of the "work hard" part. Depending upon your position, it can definitely be closer to 50-55 hour work weeks on average. Could you leave at 40? You could but most do not because they genuinely care about their jobs and the customers. - A lot of changes are happening which can cause stress and frustration for employees trying to do their jobs. This is the growing pains of a company and are normal but as the company name suggests, the company is rapidly scaling up. And while we are growing for the better, it does mean an almost constant state of change and a constant state of growing pains.

Pros

From day one I was treated as a real contributor rather than just an intern. I had genuine hands-on exposure to enterprise cloud environments supporting actual clients across Microsoft 365, Citrix VDI, VMware vCloud Director, and Mimecast. The opportunity to lead a knowledge base quality assurance project for a company-wide ServiceNow migration was a career highlight. Several colleagues were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in my growth. The work is meaningful and the technology stack is impressive.

Cons

Manager engagement with interns was inconsistent. Communication around intern performance, expectations, and potential full time opportunities could be more structured and transparent throughout the program rather than only at the end. Interns are left to figure out their standing largely on their own which can be stressful especially when the internship is coming to a close.
