I still very much believe in RapidDeploy’s mission. While here, I had some of the most amazing coworkers and customers of any position I’ve ever had. I can honestly say I’d work with anyone here again in a future role.
Cons
Cons, besides being laid off my job with zero warning (10 days before Christmas) after years of hard work, losing my health insurance less than a week later, and a bunch of vague half-truths and straight up lies as to the reasons why? I guess I can think of a few others. The employees at RD, as I said above, are high caliber, dedicated people who want to serve the public safety community and build a life-changing tool. That’s made extremely difficult (at times impossible) by the constant turnover and lack of transparency in upper leadership. There was so much promise here. We all cared immensely about our jobs. In return, we were given a swift kick out the door.
