Pros

Great team, a startup-like environment, a lot of interesting companies & startups to work with, a lot of freedom from the management's side as long as you bring results, a very healthy work-life balance. After working there, it would be much easier to get into a global startup with sweet salaries.

Cons

No real opportunities to get ahead within the company, there's a very clear glass ceiling

Pros

You gain lots of experience by dealing with multiple global companies - whether its a startup a SMB or an enterprise. You deal with lots of B2B & B2C clients, and you deal with every marketing aspect there's out there. It provides you A LOT of tools and therefore it's no wonder that everyone who left Ranky went to work in a managerial job for global companies with big salaries. Also, the team is small, but very good at what he does. Quality over quantity is a winning formula in this case. You get an amazing work-life balance and no one is sitting on your neck to check your work hours... as long as you get the job done - no one really cares. That's not something very common in digital agencies in Israel, at all.

Cons

Well, the company is too small, so you can't really get promoted within the company. Since this is a startup-like environment, you won't get the perks that enterprises and big companies have, do it depends on how much it's important to you.

Pros

The fact that Ranky provides services for startups from all over the world provides the workers a bit of a startup-like feeling, in a positive way. The environment is very family-like, and communication is very open between everyone who works for the company. What's also interesting is that working with these startups grants you knowledge of cutting edge technologies and where this world is going, which is intriguing but also very challenging (B2B marketing is challenging pretty often) so it stimulates you.

Cons

The only con I could think of was that sometimes I had to deal with rude clients and it can stress out people sometimes, because you have to provide them the service they're paying for. Working for an agency also has its limits salary-wise *BUT* compared to other agencies - I got a fair pay. As the last step before being an in-house marketing manager on a product company - it's the greatest place to be.
