Pros

Good benefits, insurance is really good. Before changes in management there was a real effort to build a team. It was a great place to work a few years ago where I felt like my work was valued

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, forget about family, like being in high school with all the gossip and cliques - if you don't fit the mold you will be treated like garbage, hidden agendas - managers want to promote/hire only certain people (e.g. Their buddies)

Cons

Like any job there is large variations to working conditions depending on what department you work in. If wishing to work for this company I would try and work in the corporate/safety/administrative/engineering departments. Working out of the production department should be taken with caution, as they have a culture/management issue, since everyone working for that division can easily be replaced by subcontractors wanting to get their foot into the door. They do not value their employees, or the working conditions in which they operate out of, and are considered expendable. Interns are treated better than employees than have been there for years. Read a lot of the previous reviews where it talks about the failure of management in the last decade and they are all true. People were promoted to leadership positions not because they were/are good leaders or workers, but rather they just showed up, or had networked with upper management. Country club mentality comes to mind. If you are good at your job expect to be stuck there forever without any opportunities to move around/grow or seek better working environments.
