Not always the most professional place

Not a lot of direction so you can be as creative in this role as you would like to be.

Any idea is met with "we can't afford that". Vendors are not getting paid on time so the majority of the phone calls coming in are from vendors looking for their payment and your own reputation is on the line. All relationships are lost because the CEO goes through PR agencies and PR Directors/Managers every few months. Morale is seriously low. No opportunities for advancement or to improve in your career. Designs are not innovative or groundbreaking nor is the production value of any event so stories and collections/events are hard to pitch. Interns are unpaid and treated like unpaid employees. CEO is constantly whining about back pain, arthritis, knee issues, etc. The studio is always freezing cold - not sure if it's purposefully set at this temperature of if the CEO is cutting costs - even clients that come in for fittings complain about the cold.
