Pros

You get to meet people at different major department stores/networking

Cons

1. You are essentially working retail in addition to stocking product that retail workers should be stocking already - be prepared to unload boxes from stock rooms because other people are not doing their job 2. Management is not concerned about you in the slightest, upper management lacks in communication and professionalism 3. Heavy micromanaging 4. Lots of upper management people were friends years ago and worked within the same companies prior, making growth or promotion for all other employees nearly impossible 6. Too low of pay for amount of travel required and too much wear and tear on your own car 7. Too much work for the pay 8. Be prepared to spend countless hours driving to stores with hardly any work life balance 9. Near to no connection with the actual company, poor communication from all parties 10. Upper management is toxic and petty. If they do not like you, if you are not among their friends within the company, or if you try to prioritize yourself and your time, you will feel disposable and they will practically complain about everything you do to the point where it is mentally draining 11. Do not expect well wishes or if you choose to leave 12. Even if you voice concern about the job, they will not put any effort towards trying to fix anything

Pros

Really enjoy working within my team. Lots of challenges to solve but great work life balance and genuine people.

Cons

There is no cross coordination between business units resulting in constant internal failures Sales has unfortunately earned a negative reputation. They do not work well with others. Would like to see employees show more respect for their colleagues and how every business unit works together to meet our goals.
