Pros

I am a current Associate here at Rand Group. I was hired as a college grad and really appreciate the opportunity Rand Group has given me to grow my skills. The people around me here are very knowledgeable and experienced and are eager to help and answer questions as they arise. One of Rand Group's core values is Learning. The training program is fantastic and challenging. You get a training plan every year to work on so you can ensure you continue to grow your skills and develop. You can also give feedback to your manager on what you would like to learn as well. As a college grad, they don't expect you to know all the technology and are willing to take the time to train you on it. There are performance reviews every 6 months which I have really appreciated. This keeps the dialogue open on your performance, goals, and growth. The bonus program is nice and provides a good opportunity to earn some extra cash. I love the hybrid work schedule. Currently we work 3 days remote and 2 days in the office.

Cons

Can't really think of any. You need to be organized as the work here can be challenging and requires hard work, but that will ultimately develop your skills so you can grow as an individual.

Pros

When I left my last job, I was looking for a company that offered advancement and had a great culture. Rand Group has delivered!!! I have been promoted multiple times since coming to Rand Group. I continue to learn new things about the product I work on, as well as business processes across multiple industries.

Cons

As a manager, the day's planned work can sometimes be interrupted with unplanned client or staff questions. Not really a con, but being a manager in client service might not be for everyone as you have to be able to juggle multiple things.

Pros

- Growth, Competitive Culture, Training Videos !!!!!!

Cons

- Extreme level of Micromanagement. Was working under a new manager in the BC practice and initially thought maybe its that individual just being controlling but no, Seniors, the other manager was exactly the same. Even when after a couple of months, I got the hang of Consulting and was doing alright based on their observations; it was still same. Talked with a few ex-employees working with other renowned partners then and now and their complaints aligned with mine as well. It was to an extent where I was being asked of "0.25' hour of time entries to Projects and that the entry did not make sense to them!!!! We truly don't know how bad it is/was until we move on to something new and better. The salary was very subpar as well for Consulting.
