      Pros

      Japan's e-commerce giant. You'd be able to work with different types of people from various departments and subsidiary companies. Can get free breakfast, lunch, dinner. Good for someone who's starting and would love to save some bucks.

      Cons

      While it aims to be global, it's still very Japanese. So a lot of the managers are Japanese only. Might be hard to climb up the ladder as a foreigner

      English is the main language in Rakuten. You have an opportunity to grow if you are assigned to a good project. What project you get matters.

      Cons

      Even if you have the skill set, if you don't get a good impactful project, your career might stall here. You need to be proactive to get the project. Talk to people
