If you are in tech, it’s a male dominated department and women are treated with disrespect and ignored. HR will not have your back on anything - even when there was an obvious case of discrimination. Promotions are rare and more like a title change. Announcements will go out that you were “Promoted”, but there is no comp increase. There is no room for growth here.
