Pros

There are barely any positives of working at this organization. It is unfortunate that even in the Pros section one has to be writing such words but the way organization is run is dismal and absolutely pathetic. Perhaps the only upside is that one may have once in a bluemoon night interaction with senior civil servants and people from the academic background.

Cons

The founder has habit of calling people late into the night, the work culture is pathetic and goes back to colonial times when people are needed to be addressed as madams and sirs. The CEO has no worklife balance and expects you to have the same. Calls up at odd work hours , Employees are treated poorly, poor compensation, no sick leaves. The organization is run in a very non transparent way with absolutely no clarity about the sources of funds. Employees are treated worse than Peons and at times even the salaries are held back for reasons unknown. The organization claims to be a policy think tank but there is no productive work out of the organization and motives seem to be fishy in nature.

Pros

It is a great foundation and very innovative in it's approach to engage students in public policy research which makes them think in what it takes to change a country. Especially in a country like India, where the youth has lately been highly influenced by ill-intention politicians, their provocative and biased speeches, this foundation shows an alternative path to achieve a better society by working on ground reality and under the guidance of proven social leaders and bureaucrats. The number of initiatives that have come off recently by the Foundation and it's increasing number of applicants from just a below 100 in 2011 (when it started) to 1500+ applicants in 2013 speaks for itself on what this Foundation is all about. The participation from the students of top Universities like IIM's, IIT's, DU, SRCC and the official collaboration with these Universities show the trust the Foundation have gained in just a few years! If one is interested in building a sustainable society and work tirelessly for our country's growth without staging a protest for 2 or days and instead making sure that such events never happen again, work with this Foundation. You can bring the change you want to see in the country.

Cons

The Foundation has certain difficulties in finding right people as any other NGO or for that matter, any start-up company would have. It will need to sort out certain norms and place a firm organization in structure with right people.
