Pros

RH Strategic is a wonderful place to work. The environment is warm and welcoming. Onboarding is thoughtful and thorough. The team is smart, fun, supportive, and there is always someone to help whether you need it professionally or personally. The firm does very good work and truly sticks to it's mission around the types of clients worked with. Leadership is accessible and genuinely invested in the staff. On both firm and client work, growth opportunities frequently present themselves. RH is a great place to put down roots and a place that rewards commitment and hard work.

Cons

Not really a con but being bicoastal means you don't get to work with or see everyone as much as you'd like.

Pros

You get what you put in at RH Strategic. If you are looking to be immersed in interesting work, take ownership of your professional success and collaborate closely with diverse team members, you will love working here. RH is a medium-sized agency that quickly adapts to industry changes and employees are encouraged to use their creativity and strategic thinking for client and firm projects. I always felt a sense of true ownership and pride in the work I was completing, even in the most junior role at the company. In my experience, my manager was incredible and absolutely instrumental to my growth. We met regularly to set and track goals, and anytime I voiced a concern it was often met with a direct solution, or resolved over time. I also found that RH invests in employees beyond their day-to-day responsibilities. They work hard to cultivate an equitable culture that rewards high-performing employees and provides opportunities for professional growth and recognition when due.

Cons

As with most communications agencies, there was a time commitment outside of regular working hours and an expectation to always be available, especially in client-facing roles. It also often took time to backfill roles and properly staff projects when other employees were promoted or departed the company. This additional pressure on existing teams tended to quickly compound due to competing client needs and business development proposals.
