Pros

All staff get along and it's a friendly place to work. Some good benefits. Have been shown PLC stuff and had the chance to work with PLC's more. Training is good. Get chance to do electrical drawings and stuff. Been able to go to some industry days and training sessions as well as getting trained in house.

Cons

Has been some issues with guys in the past that didn't fit with the team or do reasonable work. They don't normally last long - 3-4 months. Owner gets us to meet with new staff before they get put on now.

Pros

Literally no pros at all, I lived near the site but this isn't a positive from the company

Cons

Promised training that was not provided, when commissioning the owner would verbally abuse employees and at one point the contracted companies technicians. I shortly left the company 3 months from start date, ruined my resume and work history strongly recommend not accepting job offers from this company. pay below award rate

Radium Control Solutions Response

We're sorry the position didn't work out for you. You were provided training, additional assistance and extra time to do tasks but you didn't improve. That's why you were terminated before your trial period of 6 months ended. Awards only apply to certain positions in Australia - typically trades. We consistently pay above award to apprentices and trades staff. We ensure our rates for engineers and graduates match or exceed market value and have 3-6 month reviews of wages to ensure good performance is being rewarded. We've improved our screening processes to minimise impacts to our team in the future. Part of that process is for prospective employee's to meet with our current staff. They're able to discuss whatever they want - management don't involve ourselves once the formal interviews are done. We feel this provides a good chance for people to see what our work culture is like and how staff are really treated.
